I went away to Germany to help my daughter settle into her new home in Hamburg, so I have been OOS (out-of-service) for a while. But I'm getting back in the swing of things and have once again donned my "guide cap."

I have been concentrating on numbers, not size. Lots of action seems to suit most people versus the sometimes long wait for a "big bite." At least I know it suits me a lot better anyway. emoBig

We've had good water flow, mainly in the afternoon, which means I haven't been hitting the water at the crack of dawn. It's really nice being able to "sleep in," hit the water about 10 am and hammer a bunch of solid eater cats. Although yesterday Taylor (young lady pictured below in the red visor) had ahold of a beastly catfish! Sadly, she hooked it in the middle of a major sunken tree. The battle lasted about a minute or two before he wrapped and snapped 50 lb. braid. It hurt Taylor's feelings, and mine. emoBang

But all in all I've had some fun trips and happy people. That means life is good and gettin' better every day!
