Brent & I went out for a couple of hours Thurs nite to see if we could put anything together for the Sat Night CBA. Haven't been out at all for a couple of weeks since we've been on vacation & been playing Grandpa. About 11 I get a bump & thought about pulling the bait away but haven't had a tug on a line in so long, I set the hook. Wouldn't you know it! Was like stickin a stump! Then it headed up. Beautiful jump & then stripped drag for at least 10-15 yds. Finally Brent lipped her. Thought she might go 10, but settled out at 9.48# & beat my old PB of 9.2 from Guntersville 20 yrs. ago. Just hated I didn't do it Sat nite!!
