Our new motto is, " It Can Happen In A Drop of A Hat". At 5:30 this morning we had 3 bass and about 7lbs, and I told Ronnie we might be fixing to leave. We were working our way up on a grass flat when 1 nailed my T-rigged worm and the fight was on, we got her in and she was over 6lbs. Then I caught another one on a worm. We had our limit but didn't know what fish we may be culling next. I looked a Ronnie and said it could happen in a drop of hat. Then Ronnie nailed a 5lber on a wobble head as it was breaking daylight and it was our first cull, we caught several more fish and were able to cull up all but 1 of our original fish. This all happened in a 45 minute period emoTongue .
Around 1:30 I had one grab my creature bait and it started ripping drag, Ronnie had net in hand I was putting pressure on my spool. The dang thing ran me into structure and tied me up emoMad . The fish still pulling drag when she was wrapped up and then there was nothing. She must have pulled loose from the structure emoHoppingmad . I ended up breaking my line and almost couldn't re-coop after that. I would like to say emoThanks to Shane and all who contributed for a professionally ran tournament. This was only our 2nd CBA tourney fished and were and we were pumped up on how we finished emoDance .
