I had the boat in the water around 2:30 am in the park. Quite afew boats out so just pick a spot. It sure was quiet & calm out didn't need to catch anything to enjoy. After an hour or so of fishing the weed edges I had two pick up& drops so not too much excitement. I made my way to a point that dropped off steep and I let my t rigged worm drop to the depths and bam! Sweet set the hook and tossed him in the boat. Nice 3lb bass. Second cast bam! Set the hook and it didn't move. Oh boy here we go. That thing jumped like 4 times, sounded like dropping a dang boulder in the water. Anywey got her in and took some picks & let her go. 7.2 lbs. and that was it till sunrise. I switched over to dropshot. I lost 2 toads caught 2 about 2lbs and a nice5 lb. all of them were deep and way off the weeds. Waisted lots of time fishing the weed edges where they were last weekend. Bella is in a bad way. Taking her to vet tomarrow. Bad hip or something. She can't walk. Hope it's not serious. Anyway see ya on the water.
