We took the grandkids to Arapahoe Bend pond in Fort Collins. Unfortunately the fish didn't cooperate and the weather didn't either.
We tried all kinds of things... the kids each tied a fly of their own that they used with a bubble...one follow, not scores.
They even tried power bait....everything bites power bait right??... nope. My faith in power bait is destroyed.
Ron caught one on a damsel fly, but it got off before one of the kids could reel it in.

Oh well, we had fun and when all else fails ... there are always chips and oreos!

Looking for somewhere else to try in the Fort Collins area. There are lots of ponds here, just need to find the one where the fish are hungry.
