My dear wife informed yesterday that she was planning on purchasing new waders for me for Christmas this year but didn't know what to get. I realized that I don't know what to get for me either. I have been using a pair of el cheapo's that I purchased for an short notice duck hunt. The result has been looking like I peed myself and stage 4 sock sog every time I get in the river. I would like to stay under two hundred dollars for waders and boots. Any suggestions or warnings?

I have been happy with my Caddis waders. The feet are a bit big but they get the job done.

FishWest was/is doing a try on event for the Orvis Sonic waders. I think they are a bit more than your budget but people say they are the best out there.

Sportsman's warehouse has some killer waist high called Rustic Ridge. They are breathable, great gravel guards and outside cargo pockets. Really a great wader. $129. Then I would look for maybe Caddis Boots.

Awesome advice. Exactly what I was looking for! Thank you both!
