After planning a trip for Friday to the Berry. we couldn't wait any longer. We packed up Tuesday night at 7:00pm and left for the Berry. We were on the lake bye 9:00pm drilling three holes and setting up in 18 ft of water. The fishing was steady all night long. We caught and released 30 slot fish and missed some nice fish at the hole. Most of the fish were two cranks off the bottom and the rest were suspended at 10ft. 90% of the fish were caught on an ant pattern icefly with a wax worm or Berkley Gulp maggot. The weather was great and the road was hard packed. The night time temp was comfortable we were all alone on the lake until 4:00am.

Can you get 4 wheelers down to the ice? Three buddies of mine are going up tommorrow, I've got a tournament to win, so I will not be joining them. They won't go uless they can take the ice houses. Any info would be great. Thanks.

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I saw some snowmobile tracks and the ice was 7 inches 200 yards out from the marina.
