Supposedly you guys like my posts since I always have a story to tell???? Well, ------, not much, just some whining and stuff.
Got there late, took some pics of the fishing area, mostly to show low water and burrs. Why the burrs, can't make up my mind whether to take Rusty and have a big problem with burrs or not so much. [frown] I'm thinking if I just do the shore thing and keep him along the shore line, I'm ok?????
Anyway, got there about 2 and fished the area shown. Then I did the, what do I say, obsessed with thinking about what I did with my wallet. [crazy] Did I put it back, leave it at the store, what. Yep I'm a worrier!!!!!
Quit after only 2 hrs of fishing, Oh well, caught 4 an lost 3 so not so bad. Went back to the truck, checked for my wallet, was where it was supposed to be. Probably should have gone back and fished some more, but after climbing back to the truck, I said, "self"" to he-- with it! It was getting a little lat anyhow. Stupid!!!!
P.S. I don't know about the Mallad store. Bought my previous day license by VISA, they would not accept a credit card, had to pay cash.(against store policy) ???????? Lucky I had enough !

That is low, this time last time I went it was up to them brush in that dam corner..

It's up about five feet from a month ago. That's progress anyway.

5 ft.? Are you sure??? It didn't seem like the water was much over, if any, 5 ft at the damn. I shouldn't question you because you're always right.!!! [] I apologize! Where does the water input come from? I sure didn't see any???
I plan to take Rusty and take a chance by doing shore fishing and keeping him away from the burrs. If it comes up another 5 ft., I'm in trouble.

I have a fish finder on my tube, and it was down to 5ft in the deepest spots last month. I fished it for a couple of hours the evening that you were there, and I marked spots to 10ft.

There are some small creeks feeding into the reservoir up at the far end, and also one on the first bay opposite the 2nd pull off. We've been getting some pretty good rain storms up here, so that has helped fill it. This one we're having now should be very beneficial. I hope so at least.

It's funny, those burrs were the only cover in the lake this spring and the perch were laying their eggs up in them. They could definitely be a pain for a dog though.
