If anyone fishes Strawberry this fall from either a float tube or one-person pontoon and uses a fly rod and leeches or comparable, please post when you fished, where on the lake, which color and pattern and line you used and results. It's that time of year when things should start picking up. Myself, I fished Chicken Creek area last week for 4 hours, used black, white, yellow and ginger leeches, caught one nice cut on black. A few other hits, but mostly a slow trip.
Thinking of going back up on Tuesday to try a different part of the lake.

Don't know how many takers you will have on giving up the patterns they are using. Those subjects can be pretty closely guarded.

after she reels in 20 fish she is hurting for a week
the last time I posted where to catch fish their was 60 boats that showed up and run all over me that is the way they paid me back.

I hesitate posting this since I guess strawberry is such a hidden and secret spot but I caught 6 fish in renegade on a purple Crystal killer bugger. Fish were sitting about.. eh.. 8 ish feet of water.
I very much expect to see hundreds of you out there next time.

A lot of truth in those words. I do know from friends that basically live on that lake say they have never seen so many boats in their life as they did this year during the Koke run.....couldn't possibly be from forums like this[:p]
To the O.P. Good luck on your quest. You will get a lot of different answers I am sure. Just sift through them.

Not hidden or secret, I could care less if people post all the info. they want. I was more of just ribbing the O.P as his post seemed a little demanding...but the more info. you post, the more people will be in your spot..again, there has been 10 posts in this thread and about 5k lurkers...do the math.

Definitely, and the UDWR doing a seminar on it also had something to do with it.
