I'd use one of my saltwater CD Magnum Rapalas for that but I'm afraid if I walked around with it in my pocket nobody would ask what's in my pocket and give me strange looks too. ha ha ha
Couldn't resist! Neat Idea! Shoot, if the split rings were BRASS, you could braze them closed/smooth and have even a fairly large spinner as a dangly thingy! Get out the propane torch boys!
