During Sunday my old friend and I headed up to white pine lake to check out the great tree color festival going on and for sure to touch some fresh snow. Weather was pretty brutal enough in the morning that it took us longer this time then if we did it in August. Saw the same group of deer while going up the mountain also down hill. The only moose we saw was when we were leaving the parking lot to make a left turn. Really surprised how many stupid people think they could start hiking at 5pm and try to be back down before 7:30pm. Only caught few Cutthroat trout but the view was truly worth the hike. The algae bloom sure was nasty for fishing conditions. Water was pretty green but mostly submerged and stuck on the rocks rather then floating everywhere.
Hope you enjoy the colorful pictures [Wink]

It looks like this year the gods of the wasatch lakes are playing a game of "how low can you go".
