Fished the green sat night, sunday and monday morning. Fishing compared to past trips at this time of the year was slow. Not many fish on redds, mostly bows. Only caught a few browns between the 2 of us. I landed 2 big male bows around 20 on maribou jigs.

Fished jumped back in just after we got the pic. J raps caught a few fat bows and couple browns at night. Everyone i saw shore fishing just fished at the ramps at little hole. 30+ miles of river and everyone is fishing on the concrete..?.. Decent mid day hatch of what looked to be BWOs, baetis possibly, and big brown caddis. But fish werent rising. Eggs didnt produce one fish. Browns werent jumping at all. Little early i guess... Stopped by the weber under rockport on the way back. Saw lots of fish jumping way out of the water. Spawn must be on there. Caught a few browns but fishing was only good after sunset. Water is low as normal and most of the river is weeds.

Thought about hitting that stretch of the Weber this morning but of course something came up. It sucks people are pigs and can't clean up after themselves. If you don't mind my asking - were your browns caught on eggs in the Weber?

It was windy so i didnt bother with the fly rod. Marabou jigs.
