Just wondering if the Burbot are bitting up in the Firehole area yet? I have been thinking of hauling my boy and boat up there looking for some fast Burbot action.

I can't answer your question but with 0 degree temps up there right now, that is very cold place to fish. If these temps continue you will be able to ice fish there by next month.[

That sounds like fun. I have to go out and try it some time...

To bad it's getting so cold. The wife and I were planning to drag the boat to FH in a week and a half. This weather probably will put ice over FH before then. Not sure if we will try further down, or just wait for safe ice. Anyone have experience with soft water burbot around sage creek?
