Like others have posted the road is snow packed in areas. All the way to renegade. Launched a little late (9ish), this is my first year owning a decent boat, I was nervous to go down the ramp but launched it in 4high and raced up the ramp. I was sliding the whole way down... My buddy cruised over to the docks and I jumped in still a not sure about loading.

Three of fished until 1pm, around 25 fish caught. Then my buddy who had 14 of those had to head so we ran him back and went on fishing. It was fun fishing all day, the sun finally peeked out for a bit and it's seemed to help. 59 fish boated, give or take when you count that high and are fishing Smile multiple doubles, one on my own Smile, and a triple or two.
Like always missed a lot of fish and had them come unbuttoned. Worms were by far the top producer tipped on a white jig, chub was second and got a couple on meal worms.

When we left I just backed down an area with a few dry patches had him hook the boat on and went up the ramp a little "gun it" style. Got off fine. 4 wheel drive is probably a must for renegade. We had a little bag of ice melt incase but didn't need it. Hope this helps anyone going tomorrow. Might be your last chance at launching at renegade.

First pic those 21+" punks.
2nd was my double, buddy got them in the net at the same time.
3rd 17-18" fat bow still swimming.

You guys did awesome today. My son and grandson were in the boat in the distance in your first photo. I almost yelled, "No fair netting them two at a time." We were impressed with your fishing skills. We wondered why you left but you came back just as we were leaving. We launched at Strawberry Marina because the ramp there is dry. I was afraid what the road was like to Renegade and looking at the ramp when we got there might have been a nightmare.

Always found it better launching at the main Marina or Soldier Creek than driving to Renegade. The weekend before Thanksgiving was always the best time of the year. Nice fish

Thanks for the reply. It was a good trip, to bad I probably won't be back until the hardeck. How did you guys fair? We mostly fished that are between those two pints in19-23' of water. November is my favorite time of the year up there. Tight lines...
