The wife went to work, daughter went to school. I had the itch for fishing but started doing the leaves. I felt a sprinkle of rain so I had an excuse for not doing the leaves today. " The leaves were wet". emoBig
Hooked the boat up and off to the Chic....... Put in at CFP around 11:00 and headed up river. Tried a few spots on the way but the wind made it tough to fish. Found a dock out of the wind in about 10 fow that had fish on it willing to bite. Caught 18 total. 8 keepers and 10 throwbacks. One was almost 12". Think I could have pulled on it's tailfin and made it a 12. Lol. Releast the fish so they could grow some more and be caught again. I personally don't like stocking up on fish because, one, they can't reproduce and grow in the freezer and two, when the wife puts fish on the menu, I have to go and catch some. That gives me another day on the water. Or two. emoBig Can't remember what the water temp was but I used BG outlaw special w/ 1/16 and 1/32.
