Fished DC today from 11 am till 2:15 pm.
Very little wind and excellent fishing.
3 age classes caught. Biggest class probably shy of 2 lbs.
25 fish caught with hottest lures being KCT spoons in Pink Hothead and black/white splatter.
All fish except one still swimming.
1.3 mph anywhere from 5' down to 30' down.
Best fishing found out in front of main state park ramp.

I've been having similar success there recently as well. The bite has been great. Time of day doesn't seem to be near as important right now. I haven't been fishing it until 10 am - 3 pm and fishing is steady.

Thanks for the info. May try DC out this weekend with the pontoon. Sounds like Strawberry is tough to get to the water from reading other reports.
