I've been getting a lot of people PM'ing me about the ramp conditions, etc. so I thought I would post it up on here.

As of 2pm today 12/26, the sun is out and we got a total of maybe 2-3" of snow total during the last two days. Roads are in great shape (I came through Logan Canyon last night and the closer I got to Bear Lake, the less snow that was on the ground). Ramps might have a bit of snow, but I don't expect them to be a problem with 4wheel drive, but bring a shovel/salt just in case. It was a bit breezy today so I stayed home and cleaned some reels which were long overdue. Good luck this weekend if you're headed up this way. The fishing all over the lake is actually really good right now. Jigging has produced more fish than trolling, but everyone seems to be catching a few fish. However, by about 10:30-11am, it really slows WAY down. It also seems that if there is some cloud cover the fish are biting better. Just my observations.
