I bought a used pontoon and am in the process of getting it ready for next year. Have oars, and it looks like I will have to make a motor mount as I haven't been able to find a readymade for inflatable pontoons.

I bought some oar locks, but the posts are too large for the holes on the boat. Has anyone used the plastic Carlisle oar locks? Can anyone recommend another brand of oar lock for a pontoon?

What pontoon did you get? Some have oar locks that mount to the oar. Never tried the ring. I prefer the brass horseshoe with oar rights on the oar.

What model oftoon do you gave? Any pics? I usethe carlisle ones and they are great.
