It was all iced-over everywhere I could see yesterday (3" - 5" of clear slick ice) but with these warm temps today and the next few days, it could very well be a different story by next week. [:/]

Welcome to the forum!
I'm going to be posting a report about fishing Starvation today in my kick boat. There is a section of open water in Rabbit Gulch that you can fish from shore. You will have to walk a bit to get there but there is quite an area that you can fish. As far as what to use I'm not much help. I was fly fishing using leech patterns but I'm sure there are some other guys on here that can give you some tackle tips.
Good luck when you go!

Could any of you guys that are in the area let me know what the ice looks like as the week goes on? I would greatly appreciate it. I have been planning on ice fishing there this saturday but with these warm temps I dont really want to go for a swim either!

Yes. I am keeping an eye on the conditions and can post an update Friday. Shoot me a PM if you don't see it.

I too, am very interested in the ice conditions the next couple of days. If you have an eye on the ice conditions this Thursday I would be very grateful to hear. I plan on hitting the hard deck there on Friday if the ice is safe.
I have normally fished by the bridge and indian bay area. I have been dying to get back up there since last year's ice season was cut so short. Cant get enough of those Starvy Steelhead!
THank you very much!
