To prevent any confusion regarding the old post I commented on I'm starting a new thread. Today I opened my new Bass pro catalog and saw the location map. Right there on the map was a blue star that showed a future location in northern Utah. I've attached the picture for you to look at. Was reLly hoping someone ha some insider info.....

I don't know if I would trust their catalog. They can't even seem to figure out that Oregon and Washington are two separate states.

It's been 7 or so years but my old boss was at a planning commision meeting for Brigham City and they had a plot plan proposal for the land west of Wal-Mart.

That would be great!! I'm not sure if it's because we don't have one or what but I really like Bass Pro shop. And we are getting a Cabela's in Kaysville too? I'll never have to deal with Sportsmans again.

I don't see the location map but I do see my Boat on page 15

I hope the catalog is more reliable than the website as I would love to see one in Brigham. Sadly, the Basspro.com website store finder doesn't show anything in Utah, present or future.

A Bass Pro in BC and a Cabelas in Farmington. There goes all my money.

Oh how I wish this is true. The only problem is that I have heard so many different stories on Bass Pro Shop coming to Northern Utah and nothing ever happening I don't want to get my hopes up. I know they looked at two different locations in Box Elder County and one in Salt Lake County a few years ago and still no store.

I guess time will only tell. If they do put one in Brigham city it will be nice just wish it was a little further south than that.

I've heard this rumor for a few years, but seeing it in the BPS catalog makes me think there might be some truth to it. Sure would be neat. The Cabelas is Farmington is going to be awesome. I hate that drive all the way down to Utah County

I've been hearing the "Bass Pro Shops is coming to Utah" rumors for over 15 years now. I hope this one is true, even though it would be a heck of a drive from Utah County.

I love the idea of a Bass Pro Shops here in northern Utah, but Brigham City? What a waste...[Image: happy.gif]

I disagree. I think it's a pretty good spot. You have Cabelas in Utah County and soon to be in Weber County. Then there's a sportsmans in Ogden. I think Brigham makes sense. Plus I don't live to far from there. HAHA

+1
Brigham would be perfect. Spaced out away from the cabelas and sportsmans.

It sure was nice living in Grapevine TX for a couple years, I had a bass pro not even 5 minutes from my house! In my opinion I like Bass Pro much more than Cabelas.
[signature]
I do too.

Cabelas does have better sales though. So it's perfect if they are both here.

I also think a Northern location would attract some folks from Idaho.
