I would love to build a couple rods. Anyone know of any classes or members willing to show me and possibly a couple friends the ropes? I have been meaning to call Fish Tech but haven't done it yet. Would love some custom ice fishing rods and a spinning rod or two.

[#0000FF]We have several competent rod builders on the board. I have been making all kinds of rods for quite a few years and make a lot of ice rods for guys who want something different than what is in the closeout bucket at Sportsmans.
You can get far out and exotic once you learn the basics. But it is not difficult to assemble your own once you have the right parts and the knowhow to put them together.
