Fishing Forum

Hit up an old favorite Wednesday with a few friends. Fishing was really good, but the key was definitely running and gunning. We would move along an underwater sand bar and every time we moved it seemed like there was a new school of fish. Landing them seemed to be the trick. The fish were really rolling and thrashing a lot which lead to more slipped hooks than I have had in quite a while. Landed 25ish fish and probably had 30+ on that got off. I try and just think of it as long distance release []
