I'd be guessing it should be around 7-10". The hot springs usually start eating up the lake around end of febuary to mid March. The safest ice is just on the south side close by the steep cliff area. Never get close to the big circle rigs where hot springs use to be. I was up there last month and it was 3-4" of ice.
Last ice season I remember I went up there in December or beginning of January. One my first trip it was 2" , following week was 7", then the other week was 10", 3 weeks later it was back down to 4-6", and then the last week it was unsafe ice. That lake has a strange ice season all I can say it's one of the most unpredictable lake of how thick it can be in Utah.

How is the fishing on Tibble Fork through the ice? And is it a pretty popular spot? I have not fished there for 10 plus years and only open water fishing then also.

Like I said i didn't fish it since last month. There was some open water by the inlets where the river come in from. There's rarely anyone going on the ice.

Well maybe I'll have to run up and check it out. Could be a fun afternoon.
