We've went out on january 2nd to catch our first sturgeon of the year and indeed we got one! It was windy int he morning but it calmed down during the noon and went right back up on the way back, very bumpy ride, It was real cold around 28*F and 20*F wind chill, Good thing we had a heater! The water that came on board froze over within 30 minutes so we had to watch out for that, Other than that it was a pretty good first day! We went out the next day which was warmer, Windier, And cloudier but we managed to get another one, I've uploaded a video of our little experience and i hope you all will enjoy it
