I plan to go on my first ice fishing trip of the year and want to take my 7 year old son with me, he is a die hard ice fisherman. Monday my father in law said the plow stops a mile or so before you get to lost creek and that no one had driven past that point so he turned around. Has anyone been able to drive to the resevoir since Monday? [/size]

[size 2]I think Lost Creek and Rockport have been great fishing and there will definitly be less people at Lost Creek, but if it is too much of a pain to get to Lost Creek I will probably go to Rockport. I would hate to get stuck! Thank for the info.[/size]

They do stop plowing a little before the dam, but people with a decent 4X4 can get through just fine. Good luck, and I hope you son can catch a bunch of fish.

I drove up there last weekend, the gate was open but the road was terrible. The people that were fishing the lake had parked about a mile down and either walked or taken snomobiles in.
