I went by Lincoln Beach Saturday afternoon for a look-see. The boat launch is clear, but the area just outside the jaws was covered with ice blown that had moved there with the prevailing wind. Looking North from the point most of the lake was clear except for immediately East and over toward the slough mouth.
Going up into Goshen Bay, the lake was about 80% clear, but parts of the eastern shore were covered by drifted ice. There were large ice patches far out in the lake.
A few more days or one good wind and the south end should be accessible by boat.
Pretty early!
