Moved your post to the Utah board, so a few move members will see your derby info. Thought a few might be interested because of the bad or no ice around here. By the way welcome to the site.

Thank you for your help and support! We're glad to participate in your forum.
This board moves fast, so if you see this post at the bottom or on the next page back, feel free to bump it back to the top. It is amazing the ice there is so thick, what are the daytime temps there?

Will do. Thank you. Ambient temperatures have been unseasonably warm (normally there is more ice). We've generally been in the 40s, some days low 50s. A few weeks back we had some record lows (-31 at the lowest in Kemmerer), which persisted for a few days that made a significant difference. A couple of subsequent below-zero periods have help to maintain the ice on Viva Naughton since then.
Are the over night temps staying below freezing?

Yes. Over the past couple of weeks, they'd been dipping into the teens and 20s, generally. Looking at the forecast, they'll dip just slightly below freezing at night till the tournament.
Well that is good news, with that much ice and temp at or below freezing, I'm sure everyone will be fine, good luck with the Derby.
