Crappie fishing was tough today in the vicinity of the Dayton boat dock. Fished about six hours as the air temperature warmed and the wind grew stronger through the day. Fished plastics (grubs and Lightning Shad) around wood, docks, and rock walls. Caught only one white crappie near a boat dock. It was the only bite of the day. Lots of boats on the water, probably due to forecast of temperature in the 60s. At one point, we were one of eight boats in a 200 yard stretch. Didn't see much activity in these other boats either.
