I arrived at about 8 and the weather was perfect, no wind and warmer than expected, which changed into 20-30 mph wind and snow. The first place I tried was 45 ft of water and started catching some decent fish suspended in 20-30 ft. I took pictures of the first fish of each species and kept one fat bow. The fishing was non-stop until I left at 3. The biggest fish was the one I kept but I did have a huge laker on that ran my line out 150 ft twice and finally spit the hook. I was dissapointed I couldn't get him on the ice for a picture but oh well I'll catch him on another trip. I moved in later to catch some perch for dinner and couldn't keep trout off my line. I only caught one perch which was a little dissapointing for the frying pan but atleast one bit the dust. Before I left I tried some deeper water and found big schools of 14-16" bows. Tried on the bottom for a laker but no bites. I know this side isn't the best for lakers but I can always hope, right. Fish finder worked great until it froze up and so did I.
