Fished Scofield this morning from 7 am to 11 am. Ice was 12-14 inches and the edges were melted and refrozen overnight. Started with temps of 18 degrees and by the time i left the temp was 40 degrees (edges were still frozen). Fishing was fair. I caught 12 cuts: 3 low in the slot. None over the slot. I also caught 3 small rainbows (10 inches or so). These were all caught in 4-6 FOW.
I moved out to deeper water to collect some bait for future fishing. Got into the chubs at 9 FOW. Caught about 10 in 30 minutes and then back home. Beautiful morning to be out on the ice!

Good to hear there is good ice in a few locations. What kind of bait were you using for the chubs?

Meelworms and small green jig.
