It was t-shirt weather today. But the fish took the day off. Amazing weather for Feb. Slowest day catching this season. Not as many fish on the finder either.
Getting on and off at the marina is no problem.
By afternoon there is water on the ice at Haws but if you go east about 150yds you can easily get around the point. My tracks heading out this morning were in the middle of where the water came in the afternoon.
Bad news getting to Renegade the pressure ridge is the release point for all the expansion the heat is causing on the ice. There are a couple of spots you may shoot across it on a sled but I wouldn't attempt crossing it on a wheeler. Some people have gone up across the little island there but you hit trouble on the south side too. I think if you hit the shore before the pressure ridge you can get around it and back on to good ice in the meadows.
Ice still 8 to 14 inches except near the big cracks.
