Fished from 7am til Noon. 3 of us caught 15 fish. No slush. Ice is 12 inches thick. 18 degrees when we arrived 48 when we left. The road to Renegade is tore up from side be sides getting stuck to just passed the Haws point turn off. Great day to be on the lake.

Thanks for the report. With all the other lakes showing serious ice degradation, Strawberry sure knows how to hold it's own. But it may also surcomb too very soon with this crazy weather.

Two of us fished Chicken Creek East on the 14th. There were a few other folks fishing but definitely not a crowd. We fished from 7:30 am to about Noon and landed 5 Cutts all in the slot and one nice 19 1/2 inch Bow in the 3 to 3 1/2 lb range.
the weather was awesome and the ice was in good condition. The ice was pushed up on the shore but no access problems.
