Thank you for all the updates on the ice conditions at Strawberry. It is very helpful. Can anyone give me an update on the Soldier Creek side? I want to take some grandkids up there tomorrow and I want to be safe.

We were up in the fisherman access bay all day ice was 9-12 inches everywhere we went. There were people on quads side by sides and snowmobiles. Edges were great. Our best luck was in 15 feet of water or less garlic power bait and white tube jigs tipped with anything pink were the ticket. Get there early the bite absolutely died at nine.

Did you notice the road down to the dam! I want to ride it tomorrow, but I don't want to ride it if there is asphalt on it. I want to pull my sled to the dam without roughing it up on the road.

We didn't take it all the way down but there are a few spots the asphalt is exposed.
