On my way home from a 10am apt I decided to pull the boat out for to get myself some pm vitamin D at E Canyon. It was a nice day as temps rose to the low 60's and spring fever taking its toll on me. Got on the water by 1230 and within 5min had my first 2 hookups on the same rig using a downrigger 10-15 feet below surface. My other rig was various other lures of my making or store bought but notta on that side down in deeper depths. My go to put an easy dozen to the boat and the bite was consistent. Fish were not of any great size and clean of worms. The courtesy ramp was not in the water yet but it was under repair by the park rangers getting it ready. Ice still on the lake but near dam area which most stayed away from or trolled the edge. Water temp at launch time was 40. Lake level on the rise but still need a lot of help from mother nature.
