A friend of mine that lives near Weiss lake had reported to me catching large numbers of crappie in the river channel near the main bridge in cedar bluff (50 ft of water- Crappie suspended 15-20 foot), also in the River channel in Leesburg. We began fishing about 11am and fished till 330 pm with minnows. We caught 20&#43; keepers with few shorts. some were up to 14 inches. All caught in 30-50 ft of water-more in 30 ish, suspended 15-20 foot.<br /><br />Overall a good day. Sorry no pictures.
