Check out this 8 1/2 ', 280 pound catfish....the largest ever caught on sports tackle. Why am I not surprised! Ran into this pic on the Seattle Times fishing blog. Mike

That fish looks way bigger than 280 pounds to me. I think it would be awesome if Brownlee had fish this big. It would cut down on the water skiers.
