Anyone know if the carp have moved into the shallows yet? I am in the need for some cut bait and have an itch to get the bow out.

I went out with my son to get the boat warmed up and work out a few kinks. I was looking for some activity (I need some bait as well) along the shore line around Pelican Bay and did not see any physical activity. I did see 1 area south of the ramp where the water was a little more turbid that a group may have stirred the bottom. But, that just a guess I am no expert. If you see something let me know. I have a bow I made from PVC, parachute cord, and a Gatorade bottle for a reel I am anxious to try.
