Does anybody have any recent info about the ice on Currant Creek res? My uncle just acquired an auger and shelter and really wants to try them out Saturday. We have a cabin in Fruitland so Strawberry and Current Creek are both close but he'd much rather go to Currant Creek due to one previous trip. Neither of us are seasoned ice fishermen so any location tips would be greatly appreciated.

i fished it about 6 wks ago, it is a hassle to get the sled, auger, rods, buckets and fish finder off the rocks of the dam. but, did well on tigers,cutts and rainbows in 20-22 fow with some suspended at 10-12.
