So went there today.... 4 crappie's, was not disappointed.... it was off the hook, they might not be a whole lot of size too them but it was pretty much every cast, caught a ton of 4"-8"ers, great day with my Son, he learned how too cast a spinning reel, and caught 3 completely by himself, for 4 years old I was pretty impressed, water temp was 49 at 10:30 when we got there and 53 at 5:00 pm when we left... kept about 6-7 that are fillet able, 1/8 oz. white/pink with a black body pink tail, also red tube body with chartruese tails were working the best, stay over about 30-40 ft. of water and cast too bank and let it slowly fall toward the boat, I had 2-1/8 oz. jigs tied on, good luck too all,
Matt

Doesn't get no better than kids and crappie!

Thanks for the report--sounds like I'll need to get my girls down there. Fishing with the kids is always better when there is some action.

Just a general question, not looking for your spot but were you north or south of Mtn Man? Got a short time to fish Saturday morn with my father in law before we need to be in Council.
