14 wipers and no walleye on Friday morning. All 4-5 lbs. Light Pole along north dike and then towards Freeway Bay. 7:30 am until 11:00 am. 2.0 mph and mostly on Thin Fins(gold, white). A few on Clown colored lures and Silver. Action mostly stopped once the "walleye chop" stopped. Tried fishing just for walleye where I have been getting a few, but no action.

Very nice, it's funny how Willard is fire or ice on the same day just depends on whose turn it is. Thanks for a great report. J

Jay, you are killing me, we got on the water at the same time you got off or the action stopped. We fished those same exact spots and zip, I need to start following you around, your my hero!!

How deep were the wipers? (or how far from shore?) If you don't mind me asking...

9'-11'. Mostly I trolled from West to East and back. Spent a little time trolling along the dikes at the 11'-12' break line and caught a couple when the wind was up.

Yea, it is funny. When it got calm out and the H20 was like glass, I think I caught only two. 100' out on boards and 125' back.

You launch out of the South or the North for that fine success story? I launched out of the South about 7:30 and smelled skunk all day. I talked to a fellow in a Red Tracker who was having success. Even with some insight from him I still failed to connect. Maybe next week.

South Marina. I was in the Red Tracker with red Tacoma truck w/cap? You were in the Bass Boat, with another guy? I actually got on the H20 at 5:00 am to try for Walleye, but no Bite. Caught first Wiper at 7:40. Good luck next time. You never really know about Willard. I have been fish-less a few times.
