Saturday I decided to hit the Weber river to find some new spots so I could take one of my co worker out on the next day we got off to dust off his fly fishing skills. First pull of was just windy and miserable like the forecast said 9-15+ mph. Drove to a few other places but the morning was just wind right and left until 11 pm then it was just fly fishing heaven. Got out of my car on the third spot I wanted to try out but the weather was to good to be true while watching all of the fish rising. From 11am - 4pm fishing was amazing on a pmd then it slowed down from 4-5 pm. End up catching over 30 browns range 4-15" and one mountain white fish. Had a few big browns sniffing around but they weren't that willing as the small guys but it still was a nice warm low wind after noon fishing.
It's so to see how low the water level on the river is at this point and with this snowpack looks like this might be a terrible looking summer so far unless if somehow we get tons of rain. []
