Headed down to church this morning (Utah Lake), in search of some hogs to dominate the north. Still nothing too special, but did manage a few.

Launched near Lindon around 7:30. I threw out shrimp on one rod, and a nice fat chunk of carp on the other. Wasn't too long until the first kitty found the ball of yarn (carp). A cute little kitten, maybe 21 inches.

I cruised around between Lindon and the bubble up for a few hours and managed to land 5 cats, same as last weekend. A few from 22-23 inches, and then actually landed a pretty decent one, going about 26 and fat.

I probably should've measured her for the contest, but I'm confident she'll look like a mere minnow once my 40 inchers start rolling in.[Image: happy.gif]

I did see quite a few carp rolling around. I tried to snap a pic, but it turned out pretty terrible... (little cluster there in the middle of the picture)

All fish were caught on carp today. Though, the shrimp I've been using has been thawed and refrozen several times. It's probably about time for some new shrimp.

I noticed a couple bank tanglers reel in a few fish, but not sure what they were catching. A boat of 3 guys also came out to join me, but I left shortly after that, and hadn't noticed them catch any.

It was a beautiful morning, and I'm excited for the water to warm up so that I can stop wearing wool socks![Image: happy.gif]

Thanks! As soon as I can get a day off......

Did you find them at any particular depth?

The action seemed to be best about 5-6 feet, but I did get random hits anywhere from 3-7 feet.

Nice. It take a while to limber up the old arm so you can handle the really big ones when they start biting. Good lookin' cats and they all look like they are ready for a good fight.

Anxious to get back out myself but looks like the weather might ground me for the next couple of days. The big ones are out there and we will be posting them up soon.[Wink]

Good luck!
