good question! I'm goung to take the mod v duckboat up there when there is about 20' of open water and troll the edges! in can break through 2-3" of ice, so I bet it will be awesome if I can hit it right!

Based on recent reports of soft edges I drove up to have a look. I'm thinking by next weekend it should have fish able water around the edges in enough places you can get away from crowds. Te limited open water was packed yesterday. I prefer to stay away from combat fishing at strawberry. Another thing is the open water needs some good sunny days to get the Eco system up and rolling to bring the fish in shallow
