[font "Calibri"]With the completion of our new boat “Hope”, what better time for her inaugural voyage than at our Veterans Appreciation Day at Utah Lake State Park at Provo, UT? Joined by our big boat “Freedoms Dream” the two boats spent the morning filled with two dozen of our community’s disabled veterans fishing the waters of Utah Lake.[/font]

[font "Calibri"]In spite of the warming waters and the beautiful weather, the fishing was very slow for the catfish we were pursuing. Two Mud cats were all that we could catch. The lakes low waters prevented us from moving into the shallows that were basking in warmer temperatures. Alas…..That is fishing![/font]

[font "Calibri"]After the morning outing the veterans were recognized for the great price they paid for all of our liberties and the freedoms we all enjoy with a flag ceremony, live entertainment and an incredible Bar B Que. [/font]

[font "Calibri"]Low waters on Utah Lake will prevent us from fishing there this year. Our big boat will be on Strawberry when the ice is gone. Our other boat will be going to Deer creek for the season and our new boat will be fishing from Lucerne Valley Marina on Flaming Gorge. When you see us on the water swing by and say “Hello” to the children and the veterans. [/font]
