Hit Jordanelle today, we were one of the 1st ones on the lake today. We started fishing on the South side right on the edge of the deep slush. We caught 4 rainbow's with only one with any size, along with many Perch. We then moved back East and in the middle and slayed the Perch with only 5 that had some size the rest were 6" and under we also caught 1 more 13" rainbow. We were using ice flies, glow jigs and white jigs sweetened with nightcrawlers. The bite was very light. We fished from 6:30 to 3:00. Be carefull going in early past the spikes I noticed on the way out that a spike had pushed its way though the snow.

Spikes? I know this might be a dump questions but I don't care.

Unlike you southern boys they make us pay for everything up here. The state closes the gate on the entrance side of the parks and have one way spikes on the exit side. You have to wait until the gate tender gets there. This makes us pay our 5 bucks to get in. Another use for the ice fishing 2X6. It makes a dandy spike cover. If any state official reads this, my name is Kent and I live in N Salt Lake, come get me!

Payback for the ice tester comment.
