I was thinking about heading up to Strawberry or Starvation tomorrow. Can anyone update the boat launch situation up at Strawberry?

was up there one week ago today... My guess is soldier creek is wide open but strawberry bay still has too much ice for a boat. There was only 10' of water between the ramp and the ice and the ice looked to be 3-4" thick still. But who knows, if the wind was right, it could have blown the sheet across the lake...doubtful though from what I saw.

I think I'll head up to the Soldier Creek side and if it looks sketchy, then press on to Starvation. Either way I'll post up a report when I get back.

I was at the Strawberry Anglers Association meeting and they said the ice is off of the Soldier Creek ramp is open and the Strawberry ramp is open. Not sure about Renegade of Aspen Grove.

Renegade is open, as well as Indian creek. You can launch a boat at Renegade, plenty of open water. wouldn't surprise me if the whole lake is open in the next few days. You could fish Byrant's Fork around the edges, this was Tuesday.

I just spoke with the marina and they said the water is ice free on the strawberry side but the wind blew ice up onto the ramp.
