Spent the day at SH Tuesday. Fished from shore. Lots of wind but still managed quote a few including this little tank. Bite was pretty light and most fish were pretty deep. This weekend should be good with the heat coming on. Let us know how it goes.

Left the hollow today. Fished hard bass are still little deep. Landed seven for rhe day. But we had to work hard for them. Thirty boats on the water. Temp 56. 71 degrees and sunny no wind. All were nice bass. Thanks to Utahduckhunter for the info. Helped a lot. On the way home tonight I counted 23 bass boats headed so[fishon]uth.

Im a little late with the update... but I must have had my hopes a little high. fishing was slow to say the least...managed 20 LMB between 2 of us fri night, sat and sun morning. by far the most success was on green jig pigs, and drop-shotting yamamoto curly tails. wind blew hard every afternoon it was basically unfishable IMO. Also tried quail to no avail. thanks everybody for the info

it was tough down there but we did pretty well on a jerkbait in the mornings. We didn't switch to jig fishing until the warmest part of the day.

Here's the tip guys..I fish both lakes.

6 lb floro carbon makes a difference when fishing light. I even drop down to 4 lb at times.

Drop shot is killer this time of year..ROBO WORMS! 4 or 6 inch Halographic shad in curl tail or straight, New IU in 6 inch. 6 inch Bold Bluegill wacky rigged..Senkos in watermelon with blk or red flake.

Lots of other stuff out there that works well but the above mention lures get it done every time all year round..

Fished from shore at SH this morning. Absolutely killed them. Landed a few 2.5-3lb fish and a 4lb fish. No fish under 14". We caught a total of about 30. Fishing seems great to me. Larger bass are beginning to move too.

What a great time of year at SH! We have been knocking them dead all spring. Went out again on 4/18 and rocked them! Caught our fill on the beds, then hit the dams and nailed them on jigs and sb's. Starting to see some pretty ladies coming up shallow and partaking lately...several in the 5-6lb range. I saw a girl that had to be pushing 10lbs, but she didn't want to dance. Crappie have been on fire as well, and have been on our dinner menu nearly every night. [sly]

Hit one spot last Monday night late in the high winds with a sexy shad 1/2 oz spinnerbait and just nailed fish after fish...one of the best spinnerbait bites I had experienced at SH. Sure fun when you are slow rolling those SB's and then SLAM!!!! [laugh] You know where I'll be this next weekend, come on down and join me!

Great report... We have been having the same luck..

There's something about this year and slow rolling spinnerbaits. It's been my main go to up in Idaho this spring. Oddly enough, they'll hardly touch a jerkbait, which is my usual spring go to.
