Jl,
What are you looking for as far as fish? 1/2 hr from Price narrows it down to three community ponds or H.North.
You a boat guy, floater, or a banker? Keep in mind that H.N. is a very high use watersports type lake in warmer months, make it a pita with small boat or tube,
plan on crack of dawn trips, weekdays, or night.
Little lake has a lot to offer in types of species and methods. I have done fine from the bank if you are willing to walk a ways.
Let me know a little about yourself on here or in a pm if you wish. and maybe we can go out together as I am lacking a fishing partner and always open to meet a new person.
I am a banker or a small boat guy, depends on the day.
Kinda old though 60 pushing 61, will retire at end of this month so will be flexible with your schedule.
At the moment I am fascinated with the wipers in H.N. because I cant figure them out, but do catch them.
I am new to boating so may scare you half to death with my antics as I learn but I got the basics down (sorta) only rules are no drinking on board and life jackets stay on.
give me a shout if you want to meet and go bother some fish.

JLTD,
Thought you were a pup, Sound like you already are an accomplished fisherman. And just looking for a quick fix.
As stated H.N. is your best bet for a quickie after work or something,
If I get the wipers figured out I will give you a shout.

Thanks for the responses guys. I don't know about accomplished but I sure do like to try. I am just down for a couple days for work and figured if I had some time I would wet a line. Made it out to Scofield last night, pretty slow caught one small cut and lost two others. But between this weather and the work schedule looks like the week will be about shot as far as fishing is concerned. O well maybe next time.
