A friend and I fished HN this afternoon for a couple of hours in our tubes. You didn't need to give the fly any additional action since the waves took care of that for us. We picked up a few rainbows from 13" to 17" long and one 18" wiper. The water temperature has dropped since our visit last week. It was 52 degrees last week, it was down to 49 degrees today. The reservoir level is at 93% and dropping slowly. We used fast sinking lines with various leech and crystal bugger patterns in white and olive on size 6-8 hooks. We started just after 1:00 and had to get off about 3:30 when the wind got too bad for us. We'll have to wait for the water to warm back up in the 50's for the wipers to get active again.
