Started out foggy and made the run north anyway. Should have stayed south. Amazing when your sitting in an area and another big tournament blast off around 9:15 and in 15 min. You are fishing a area big enough for 3 boats and they are 10 or 12 screaming in the area your fishing wanting to fish it to. Told me that it had been beat up pretty hard and that was why we were not catching fish. After about 3 wasted hours we decided to move. Hit our second spot and wasnt long until I set the hook with a shakey head and the first keeper was in the boat. 2.3 lbs. Not long after that the next was I the boat 3.5 lber. With in five minutes my son had our largest of the day at 4.0 lbs. Caught a few in between those but could never upgrade or get the big bite. All fish caught on Shakey head and Brush hog. Good thing about today was we boated every fish that bit. That spook carolina rigged in 30 foot of water I was talking to about with a few guys before blast off didnt work to well. Congrats to the winners and glad to finish in third. <br />
